1. The eligibility criteria for the above-mentioned Posts are also given on the Virtual University Website (www.vu.edu.pk/Opportunities/Jobs.aspx).
2. The age of superannuation is 60 years.
3. Those already in the government/semi-government service or autonomous bodies will be required to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ from their current employer, at the time of interview or earlier.
4. Part-time, honorary, visiting, apprenticeship, freelancing and internee experience will not be counted as experience.
5. Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be contacted individually for a test/ interview.
6. All Posts shall be applied online (www.vu.edu.pk/Opportunities/Jobs.aspx), It is mandatory to fill in all relevant information on the online job application form. No hard copy of the application will be acceptable.
7. Candidates having foreign degrees, will have to submit the equivalence certificate issued from HEC – Islamabad, at the time of the interview.
8. Candidates, who want to apply for more than one post, must apply separately for each post.
9. Application processing, a fee of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) for posts of Pay Scales El, E-II, E-III, E-IV and for other posts Rs. 1,000/- shall be paid separately for each post before the closing date or at the time of submission of online job application, through challan form .
10. Applications having incomplete/fake information or without an application processing fee will not be entertained.
11. Written Test for any oral! posts may be conducted, at the discretion of the University, where deemed necessary.
12. Candidates shall sign an affidavit, at the time of the interview, stating that he/she is not dual national and in case of selection, he/she shall not keep a dual job, in any manner.
13. In case of selection/appointment, candidate(s) shall submit a medical fitness certificate, signed/stamped by the Medical Superintendent (MS) of any Civil/Government Hospital at the time of joining.
14. In case, any deficiency is observed in the eligibility of the candidate or fake/incomplete information is provided by the candidate, his/her candidature will be cancelled or his/her job will be terminated, immediately, at any stage.
15. Your application will not be considered submitted until you complete it by filling in all the mandatory fields and clicking SUBMIT button at the last step.
16. Selected candidates may be posted at any campus/office of Virtual University anywhere in Pakistan.
17. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test/ Interview.
18. Applicable tax(s) will be deducted from monthly salary as per the rule.
19. The Virtual University of Pakistan reserves the right to reject any or all applications, at any stage, without assigning any reason.
