Dasu Hydropower Consultants (DHC) is the Supervision Consultant for the implementation of the Dasu Hydropower Project and provides technical support to 1A1APDA for the technical, environmental, social, and occupational health and safety aspects of the Project.
Dasu Hydropower Project site is located about 7km upstream of the Dasu Bridge near Dasu town, in District Kohistan (Upper) of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Province. It is a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power project to be constructed on the Indus River by the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) under the Ministry of Water and Power, Government of Pakistan. The Project area is in a mountainous region and is accessible from Islamabad by Motorway/G.T Road and Karakorum Highway (KKH) via Abbottabad.
