STATUTORY REQUIREMENTS:
1. The candidates for the posts of Professor should submit Six copies of application and .candidates for the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturer are however, required to submit Two copies of the application on prescribed form available online and at the Director’s Office, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore.
2. All candidates are required to attach a bank draft/bank deposit slip for account No. 01820001012503 HBL University of Punjab with Title of account “Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore”,
The amount to be deposited is detailed below:-
i. Professor Its. 4000/-
ii. Assistant Professor/Lecturer Rs. 2000/-
3. All candidates should submit attested copies of degrees/certificates etc.
4. All Master/M.Phil and Ph.D. degrees must be from HEC recognized university/institution.
5. The applicant must have publications in HEC recognized Pakistani journals of at least Y category and in International journals enlisted in Journal Citation Report (JCR) of ISI web of knowledge.
6. Candidates with the 3rd Division in their entire academic career are not eligible.
7. Candidates already in service should apply through proper channel by the due date and submit service certificates issued by their present and former employers; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
8. Experience certificates from each of the employer clearly showing the nature job and experience must be attached. 9. Candidates for Lecturer need no experience, however candidates with experience of teaching at school level after Master/M. Phil degree in Education will be preferred.
10. Candidates applied already, not required fresh application, if they are interested to provide any additional material, it is acceptable.
11. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
12. The IER, University of Punjab reserves the right not to fill/withdraw any post/withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
13. Incomplete, unsigned applications or those received after the last date and due time shall not be entertained.
14. All other eligibility requirements under University rules will be applicable.
15. The applications (complete in all respects) must reach on or before the last date by 02 pm to the office of “Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Quaid-i-Azam Campus, Lahore-54590”.
16. The applicants must send their CV and application in the prescribed form in soft, composed in Microsoft word 2003-07.
