Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following posts on (fixed salary) for the research project under Seerat Chair-Gender Studies and Women Rights, established by Higher Education Commission, Islamabad at the University of the Punjab, Lahore:-

i. MS/M. Phil from HEC recognized institute.
ii. Preference will be given to the candidates enrolled in PhD (Islamic Studies) with having the experience to do academic research activities.
iii. The tenure of Office Assistant/ Secretary will be for one year (extendable).
iv. Salary package @ Rs.40,000/- per month as per approval of HEC.[/toggle]

Terms & Conditions:-
i. General age relaxation of a maximum of five (05) years in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab, S&GAD circular letter No.SCR-I(S&GAD) 9-36/81, dated 04.11.2006.
ii. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
iii. Incomplete applications or applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.
iv. No TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for test/interview.
v. Already in service applicant should apply through proper channel and submit No-Objection Certificate issued by the appointing authority, showing that the department will have no objection to relieve if the applicant is selected. vi. vi The Head, Seerat Chair reserves the rights to cancel OR withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.

viii. The candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant/Secretary are required to deposit Rs.500/- and Rs.300/- for the post of Attendant (Qasid) in Account No.000182790696103 (UOP, Gender Studies and Women Rights (HBL (New Campus, Branch). University of the Punjab, Lahore.
ix. Application on prescribed proforma (available on the Punjab University P.U Website) accompanied with attested copies of educational/ experience certificates complete in all respect should reach in the office of the Head, Seerat Chair, University of Punjab, Lahore up to 13-05-2019.
