The University of Sindh, Jamshoro invites applications from eligible/suitable candidates for the following posts:-

a) PhD in relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution.
b) In the first instance, those candidates will be considered who meet the Higher Education Commission’s criteria for the post of Professor (BPS-21) and the candidate selected from amongst them will be appointed as Director BPS-21.
c) In case, no candidate is found eligible/suitable for BPS-21, then those candidates will be considered who meet Higher Education Commission’s criteria for the post of Associate Professor (BPS-20) and the candidate selected from amongst them will be appointed as Director BPS-20.[/toggle]

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply.
• The appointment would be made for the tenure of four years. If the selected candidates do not belong to the Centre concerned, the appointment would be made either on deputation or on a contract basis.
• Interested individuals who meet the criteria can obtain the application form from the website of the University of Sindh, Jamshoro Website.
• The application processing fee is Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) in shape of Bank Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, University of Sindh, Jamshoro for each application form or can be deposited via Bank challan of the Habib Bank Ltd. Sindh University, Jamshoro.
• All candidates are required to submit two sets of applications in shape of dossier along with C.V. details of research publications in HEC recognized journals in the relevant field, 4 photographs, attested copies of degrees and other credentials.
• Experience certificate as per C.V. must be attached with the application form.
• Applicants already in service should apply through proper channel along with N.O.C. issued by the competent authority of their parent departments, otherwise, applications will not be accepted.
• Incomplete applications not fulfilling the required criteria or without carrying processing fee and applications received after the due date would not be accepted in any case.
• Selection Board for interviews will be held at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro. No TA/DA shall be admissible.
• Canvassing in any manner or form will disqualify the candidate.
• The competent authority of the Centre/University reserves the right to cancel the said positions without any reason.
